Product Abstract :

Thyme is an evergreen perennial shrub. The leaves are gray-green oval, with lavender or white flowers. Native to Spain and the Mediterranean region, it is now also grown in Asia, Russia and the United States. Spain is currently the largest producer of essential oils. There are two kinds of thyme essential oil, one is red thyme (thymol thyme) essential oil, which has a strong herbal aroma; the other is white thyme (agarwood thyme) essential oil with a light and sweet smell.

Thyme 's"thymos"in Greek originally meant aroma. Thyme was used as a medicinal herb in ancient Greece, Egypt, and Rome. For example, it was used as an incense for worship in Greek temples and one of the raw materials used to prevent corruption in Egypt. In the Middle Ages, thyme was used to inspire warriors, hoping that they would have the courage to fight the enemy.
